Care Pathways Program Offers Support for Families Caring For Older Adults

Beginning next week, The Riverside County Office on Aging’s “Care Pathways” program will offer a series of 12 weeks of workshops that will cover subjects such as:  Living with Dementia, Preventing Caregiver Burnout, Managing Medications, Talking to the Doctor, Understanding Legal Issues, Stress Prevention, Relief and Communicating in Challenging Situations, and more. 

The first session will be held on Tuesday, September 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., in Karns Hall.

This series of workshops is designed to offer information and support to family caregivers who face challenges managing their caregiving responsibilities for a loved one, 60 years of age or older.  The Presenter will be Guillermo Delgado.
