Diocesan Convention Comes to St. Margaret’s

This weekend, we will welcome delegates and guests from around the Diocese of San Diego as St. Margaret’s hosts this year’s Diocesan Convention.

Many member of the parish have volunteered to help with the convention, and St. Margaret’s is very grateful for their assistance.

Delegates will consider a number of resolutions during the convention, vote on the 2020 Diocesan budget, elect members of various leadership committees and delegates to the next General Convention of the Episcopal Church.

The convention Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 a.m., with the Rt. Rev. Susan Brown Snook, our Bishop, as the celebrant. Very limited seating may be available for anyone wishing to attend this Eucharist.

St. Margaret’s will be represented by our clergy and five lay delegates: Jim Duke, Guin DeJarnett, Dave Strom, Kate Pierattoni and Karen Hathaway.
