St. Margaret’s will offer an Episcopal 101 class on Saturday, June 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Meyers Hall.
The Episcopal 101 course is for those exploring what it means to be an Episcopalian. While not limited to newcomers, this course is designed specifically for those new to the faith. We’ll be reading several chapters each week, considering such issues as: How do Episcopalians read scripture? What is our history? How do we understand our spirituality and express our worship? How do we respond to God’s blessings and listen to God’s call to live in the world?
The class will use the book Your Faith, Your Life by Jenifer Gamber. It is available from Amazon as well as other book suppliers.
