Restorative Yoga Comes to St. Margaret’s

Just a few Sundays ago, Restorative Yoga came to St. Margaret’s. This one-hour class is being offered on Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Lee Building. The vision of Vestry member Brenda Thayer, who generously arranged for the props and mats used in the class, it is being taught by Yoga teacher Hanna Wilke. The cost is $10 per session. Participants should wear comfy clothes.

Restorative Yoga poses support muscles and bones with props so they can relax. Benefits of the program include a lower heart rate and lower blood pressure. It relieves stress, soothes organs and improves concentration.

Each class is limited to the first TEN people to show up at the Lee Building. Classes will run through June.
